The Way Home
The Way Home marks O'Donoghue's first use of the medium of carborundum, which he would use to masterly effect two years later in his 1997 series of 10 prints A Line of Retreat. The Way Home depicts the artist's house in Ireland, glimpsed amongst trees from the end of a long road on a dark, windy night.
