Crow I

Hughie O'Donoghue

The three plate technique used by Hughie O'Donoghue in producing Crow I involves a background plate, a plate bearing the image and a masking plate. The rendering of the feathers and wings is made soft by use of oil of spike, and the detail is produced using black and prussian blue.
